Those in this country who are paying attention know that Obama was out to ruin the country in any way possible. The former president spent eight years proudly breaking down the country that somehow elected him and made him rich.
This week the inspector general (IG) for the Department of Homeland Security, John McCoy, exposed some of those tactics more fully with a report. One of the startling revelations was that “Approximately 675 jurisdictions nationwide declined to honor more than 29,269 ICE immigration detainers from January 2014 through May 2017.”
The IG looked at case files of detained illegal immigrants or suspected terrorists between the years of 2013 and 2015.
ICE Policies need to be investigated by the DHS Inspector General.

They found that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), following Obama’s mandates failed to identify and arrest “highest risk” known or suspected terrorist aliens. The agency’s lack of follow-up screenings after these people were released and refusals from sanctuary jurisdictions were the major contributing factors.
The IG found that law enforcement agencies interfered with ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). This is still occurring today as sanctuary cities refuse to allow screening of aliens for possible terrorist ties. The IG added;
“Some local law enforcement agencies will not honor ICE immigration detainer requests, which further hinders ERO’s ability to take criminal aliens into custody and apply KSTEP [the Known or Suspected Terrorist Encounter Protocol screening process].”

The jurisdictions who denied detainer orders were a huge part of the problem;
“Approximately 675 jurisdictions nationwide declined to honor more than 29,269 ICE immigration detainers from January 2014 through May 2017. When a state or local law enforcement agency declines to transfer custody of a removable criminal alien to ICE, the released alien may put the public and ERO personnel at risk and requires significantly more resources to bring the individual into ICE custody.”
ICE cites “limited resources” and “human error” but in truth, this was how Obama ran the country. Other dangerous findings in the report included;
“In 40 cases, “ICE reportedly failed to run all necessary electronic background checks to find out whether or not the alien is a known or suspected terrorist in about half of them (18).”
“In 10 of the cases, ICE “did not complete all requirements for documenting and reporting aliens confirmed as known or suspected terrorists.”
“Although the scope of our testing covered [fiscal years] 2013–15, ERO identified at least 19 more cases since January 2016 when field personnel did not transmit the required incident reports to ICE headquarters.”
These were not human errors, these were the results of corrupt and dangerous leadership. The country can breathe a sigh of relief that President Trump is turning things around.
