The Democrats and others who remain hateful towards President Donald Trump and his team because they lost the election nearly a year ago are quick to suggest that any contact with Russia is/was a sign of corruption. They ignore that the people around Trump HAD to talk to the Russians due to the nature of their jobs and they act as if not dealing with the Bear is an option. Putin himself even laughed at this notion.
It will be quite interesting to see how such people will handle the latest facts revealed by The Hill. They have exposed how Bill Clinton was “prepared to collect a $500,000 payday in Moscow in 2010” and how he “sought clearance from the State Department to meet with a key board director of the Russian nuclear energy firm Rosatom.” Clinton was actually pleading for permission to do what Democrats are now claiming that Donald Trump did.
Arkady Dvorkovich was a top aide to then-Russian President Dmitri Medvedev and was the most noteworthy government official to serve on that company’s board of supervisors. Documents have proven that William Jefferson Clinton “wanted to meet during a late June 2010 trip.”
Let us stop here to remember that this deal resulted in 20% of U.S. uranium being sold to Russia who openly deals with Iran, one of the most dangerous nations on the face of the Earth.
“In the context of a possible trip to Russia at the end of June, WJC is being asked to see the business/government folks below. Would State have concerns about WJC seeing any of these folks,” Clinton Foundation foreign policy adviser Amitabh Desai wrote the State Department on May 14, 2010, the Hill also observes.
It is known that Mrs. Clinton’s “most senior advisers” Jake Sullivan and Cheryl Mills were the ones who received the request. For two weeks the request sat unanswered and Desai made repeated and almost frantic attempts to find out why.
“Dear Jake, we urgently need feedback on this. Thanks, Ami,” the aide wrote. How is it that such a smoking gun can exist when dealing with deadly nuclear material being pawned off to a Russia with the Democrats and virtually nothing is done while Trump has no such smoking gun and he hears constant accusations?
Sullivan’s reply was simply to ask, “What’s the deal w this?”
Bill Clinton then met with Putin in his private dwelling and he claims that he “did not have any conversations about Rosatom or the Uranium One deal while in Russia.” He even claims that no one tied to the deal was part of the trip.
We are supposed to now believe that Putin and the former U.S. President simply had tea and crumpets while a nuclear material deal was in the air and a massive amount of money was dangling over Mr. Clinton’s head.
It is clear that there were some really shady happenings occurring and that the Clintons were tied into the suspicious dealings with Russia in ways that they now accuse Mr. Trump of being.
However, the facts don’t point to the current White House, but rather, towards the accusers.
