San Bernardino County, California, Deputy District Attorney Michael Selyem is in hot water. The Hill has reported that he is under investigation for “offensive” social media posts “aimed at figures including Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) and former first lady Michelle Obama.”
The Orange County Register has confirmed that Selyem is part of an internal probe that has resulted from posts that he has since deleted. He allegedly said a Mexican criminal who was shot by police got what he deserved, called Maxine Waters a loud mouth, and said things about Michelle Obama. Now California is firing back with its own investigation.
The post showed Obama with a doctored sign that read, “Trump grabbed my penis.” He even referred to Waters as “loud-mouthed c–t,” an opinion which angered many a liberal. While some people may be inclined to agree with the statement, Selyem took it way, way, too far when he typed, “Being a loud-mouthed c#nt in the ghetto you would think someone would have shot this b*tch by now ….”
This is the kind of talk that Waters has begun when she called for people to harass Trump officials.
Selyem also said of a man who was shot by police, “That sh*tbag got exactly what he deserved. … You reap what you sow. And by the way go f–k yourself you liberal sh*tbag.”
During a Budweiser Super Bowl advertisement, the DA also stated, “I am all for white males immigrating here legally and starting a business.”
He added, “It is the terrorist a–holes sneaking in here wanting to kill me an (sic) my family that I am opposed to. I cannot believe how shallow democrats are. They must really think people are stupid. I guess that is evident because they actually thought Hilary (sic) Clinton could win a presidential election… TWICE!!! LMFAO!!!”
The posts were known about since June 25 and now the fallout is here. “We have been made aware of the negative comments and they do not represent the views of the District Attorney’s Office. Since this is a personnel matter I cannot comment any further,” declared outspoken District Attorney Mike Ramos.
Screenshots of the posts remained even after the tweets were deleted.
So, now both sides are taking posts to extremes as debate in the United States becomes more unhinged than any time in recent history.
