The Department of Justice (which itself often relies on anonymous sources) has just issued a statement that could be read a great number of different ways. If ambiguity was an artform, they would be Picasso.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein issued a statement which said that we should be “skeptical about anonymous allegations.” Considering the MSM’s fueling of Russia’s “election interference” is said to be based on “anonymous sources,” this could be a sign of Trump’s innocence being further discovered, according to information published in Zero Hedge.
“Americans should exercise caution before accepting as true any stories attributed to anonymous ‘officials,’ particularly when they do not identify the country — let alone the branch or agency of government — with which the alleged sources supposedly are affiliated,” Rosenstein writes.

He also cautions, “Americans should be skeptical about anonymous allegations. The Department of Justice has a long-established policy to neither confirm nor deny such allegations.”
As to what else this could mean, Zero Hedge opines “it could be seen as a validation of Trump’s repeated allegations that much of what has emerged in press in recent weeks is ‘fake news.‘” Trump has long claimed his innocence and all signs seem to point to it being sincere.
It also could simply be a way to “chill” leaks, according to some hypotheses. Still others suggest that this is hinting towards something big that has yet to fully be known.
The fact that Rosenstein finds “no grounds” to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller can be seen as a signal that facts are proving the honesty of the White House, at least in this regard.
The media is said to be “stunned” by the statement, yet most of the alternative media is not that all that rattled by it. We have known for eons now that “officials” are a scary thing to source, and it is done with great care.
Any time that someone is not willing to stand up for what they are quoted saying, be it a KKK member hiding behind a stupid white hood or an “official” allegedly talking to some reporter seeking a “first” scoop, there is cause for suspicion.
As irony would have it, it took an “official” (Rosenstein) to alert the MSM to this!
