Liberal Magazine Forced To Correct Story When Trump-Bashing Headline Backfires

Today's win for President Trump was sadly easy.

The feud between President Trump and the liberal mainstream media has been epic. Even before he was elected, they were quick to pass judgement on his behavior and much of it was the infamous “fake news.” Sometimes it seems as if they are in such a rush to say something bad that fact-checking is just too time-consuming. Other times, it is just old-fashioned stupidity that rules and they end up in a situation such as today.

GQ Magazine was forced to issue a correction on a story they published today. Their Trump-bashing HL must have sounded so good, they didn’t bother to think. Now they are stuck in a corner having to admit, he “is dead.”

The headline now reads, “Why Does Donald Trump Want the Death Penalty for the New York Attack, But Not for Others? [Updated].” It doesn’t have quite the punch to it anymore as it did when it read, “Why Does Donald Trump Want the Death Penalty for the New York Attack, But Not for Las Vegas?”

That is what author Jay Willis asked, an editor approved, and was published. Have you caught up yet? The shooter in the Las Vegas tragedy a month ago was white. So if they could point out this discrepancy then it would mean President Trump is just racist, a favorite claim of liberals. Of course, to want the death penalty for the Las Vegas gunman would be redundant, he died in the attack.

The article now has this hidden at the bottom;

“Edit: An earlier version of this article used a headline noting that Trump had publicly called for the death penalty in the New York attack, but not the Las Vegas shooting in particular. That discrepancy is probably related to the fact that the Las Vegas shooter is dead. We regret the error.”

They certainly regret the error but they do not apologize for the implications of racism which were, once again, proven wrong.
