With very few exceptions, President Donald Trump has been both a success (sorry MSM) and a man of his word. He promised that America would try and avoid war and the fact that the fat man still runs North Korea after all that he has done proves it. He also promised to get the United States out of the wretched agreement known as NAFTA which sends our best jobs to other nations.
Well liberals, look for the Presidents sagging poll numbers to soar like an eagle because Reuters is reporting that Trump has”renewed his threat to scrap NAFTA and ripped on trading partners Canada and Mexico in a tweet early on Sunday.”
This happened mere days before the Commander in Chief is to “hold a second round of negotiations on rewriting the 23-year-old agreement.” THINK ABOUT THAT! Trump just let those leaders know exactly where America stands and this is cause for great exuberance even from those that usually detest America’s leader.
At least, those who really DO wish to work. Trump himself has had to outsource in the past due to how much it costs to do business in the U.S.A. Now, he is working to eliminate the things that cause rich men like himself to have to take such anti-American actions just to stay profitable. This is remarkable news for everyone.
“We are in the NAFTA (worst trade deal ever made) renegotiation process with Mexico & Canada. Both being very difficult, may have to terminate?” wrote the president.
Also, while Mexico has said that they will not “in any way or under any circumstance“pay for Trump’s needed border wall, thankfully, America’s leader has reiterated that they will. Hopefully, the U.S. will simply add a few pennies on each border crossing and boom! – like magic – Mexico paid for it. They will have no choice but to pay for it if the U.S. handles the cost in such a manner.
Seeing the immediate death of NAFTA could be the single best thing that could happen to America.
With Trump having rescued the nation from the needless burdens of the Paris Accord, if he gets rid of NAFTA, it can be argued that if he does nothing else for the next 3 (or 7) years, he has STILL been a smashing success.
There is NOTHING more important to the U.S. economy at this point than eliminating job killing, pay killing NAFTA. Once companies are not longer permitted to put greed ahead of America and are HEAVILY punished for outsourcing, we can again be great again.
