Speaker of the House Paul Ryan once again has shown everyone on the “Trump Train” just why Justin Amash (R-MI) and others have talked about his removal. It has been learned that plans for The Wall, one of the Presidents leading issues, has again been put on hold, this time until 2018. Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd is said to have “blasted” Ryan over the delay on “Varney and Co.”
Varney stated that “There is a report this morning that Speaker Paul Ryan is suggesting that Congress delay border wall funding until next year,” and asked Judd what he thought of it. Without hesitation, his reply was, “ I disagree. President Trump promised he was going to secure the border and part of securing the border is putting in place the proper technology and resources that allows us to be successful. And a border wall in strategic locations is one of those things that must get done.”
The truth of the matter is that most of America (according to the amount of red seen on election night) is in favor of having The Wall built. Most of those who are opposed to it are either far left progressives or those who are illegal themselves. A few sanctuary cities have cropped up, even a few governors have sworn to oppose Trump on this, but that is the real motive; opposing Trump. There remains virtually no one (who is not just fishing for new Democrat Party voters) who is in favor of the kind of delaying that Ryan is still showing.
Perhaps talks to find a person more in line with what the White House needs to have accomplished is in order. It may be that, just like with his Obamacare, the best thing to do with Paul Ryan is to “repeal and replace.”
